Cybersecurity got talent
The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg is over and was, for its 3rd edition, a very big success.
Some figures say more than words:
- More than 40 events
- 50 sponsors
- 3000+ attendees
The Cybersecurity Week was also the occasion for some actors to launch new services, products or tools, like the Cyber Insurance for SMEs, the Cybersecurity Assessment tool of the Fedil among others.
The peak event of the week was of course the Gala & Awards Night which took place at the Exit07 and has celebrated the actors of the Cybersecurity, rewarded the talents and gave the Ecosystem a precious “opportuparty” to network and build new projects.
The awards ceremony was highly expected and rewarded the talents of the year:
Jelena Zelenovic Matone is the new CISO of the Year!
Jelena Zelenovic Matone is CISO of the European Investment Bank.
She received the award from Grégory Nou, CISO of the year 2018.

CyberWayFinder is the winner of the Best Inclusion Award 2019!
Rosanna Kurrer, co-founder and managing director of CyberWayFinder, laureate of the Best Inclusion Initiative 2019 and Pascal Steichen, CEO of SECURITYMADEIN.LU.
Stéphane Omnes is the first DPO of the Year!
Mr Gabriel De La Bourdonnaye, who received the award for Stéphane Omnes, Data Protection Officer (DPO) @POST Luxembourg, from the president of the jury Mrs Maria Dolores Perez.
Stéphane Omnes has led the formalization and updating of POST’s personal data protection policies and processes. He was responsible for the implementation of the European Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) within POST Luxembourg and POST Telecom SA.
