Lëtz Cybersecurity Challenge 2020: seeking for talents

Europe faces a shortage of 350.000 cybersecurity professionals by 2022!

The C3 (Cybersecurity Competence Center Luxembourg), an initiative by the Ministry of Economy, and its partners are launching the second edition of Lëtz Cybersecurity Challenge.

This online competition targets mainly open-minded creative digital natives up to 25 years. The aim is not only to find talent but encourage young people to pursue a career in cybersecurity and related disciplines. Furthermore, LCSC promotes safe online behaviour by raising awareness of information security issues. It also develops expertise and interest in cybersecurity through challenging games and skill tests.

Through the LCSC, the preselection for the national team will be identified to represent the Grand-Duchy at the next European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) to take place in Vienna in November, 2020. The ECSC is an initiative of the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA). Last year, for the first time, Luxembourg was represented at the ECSC in Bucharest by a team of 10 young people – an unforgettable experience in every sense.
