Luxembourg laboratories use regibox for auditable transmission of results

Using Agence eSanté, the national operator for e-health services as regify provider, the laboratories BioneXt Lab, Laboratoires Réunis Luxembourg, Laboratoires Ketterthill, HRS Hôpital Kirchberg, Laboratoire National de Santé (LNS) and the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL) can now efficiently manage, organize and transmit any sensitive document or other data end-to-end encrypted and in an auditable manner.

To use eSanté’s secure and easy data exchange service, the doctor sends a request to the respective laboratory. This creates a regibox and sends the doctor an invitation by e-mail. Acceptance of the invitation makes the doctor an authorized user of this regibox with access to the data of this regibox. The files are synchronized in real time between the lab and the physician’s computer.

Highest data security

“With regibox, biomedical analyses can be called up at all times over the internet but with maximum data security. Updates or new results are immediately visible due to advanced rule-based automation,” says Kurt Kammerer, managing director of regify (http://www.regify.com/). “Automation and compliance with data security and privacy regulation make it ideal for the improvement of processes in the health sector.” Further fields of application are the electronic transmission of prescriptions in real time or access possibilities by the patient as the actual data owner by a secure connection via computer and smartphone.

Automatic synchronization on local devices

The administrator of a regibox can individually set up usage rights such as “read only” or “read/write”. Invited users have access to the current and to previous versions of the content. If documents are changed, the participants receive a notification. They also receive a change note if two or more users work on a document at the same time.

regibox runs locally as regify client on devices with Windows, Android or iOS operating systems. The mobile regibox automatically synchronizes itself on a local device as soon as an Internet connection is available. Neither the regify provider nor unauthorized third parties have access to the content, but only the authorized users.
